I've gone belly up - giving up - throwing the towel in - for the meanwhile anyway . . .
The countries for registration when you get to the second page of the competition list among them: Turkey, South Africa, and the UAE.
However, the only option for anything in the UAE is Dubai, which means your postcode and telephone number have to corrrespond too. What about the EmirateS of Abu Dhabi, Umm Al-Quain, Ajman, Ras Al-Khaimah, Al-Fujairah and Ash-Shariquah ??? They are the other six emirates that compose the United Arab Emirates.
But that won't do me any good, I'm resident in Saudi Arabia.
Perhaps this competition is open to residents of countries whose national airline carriers have agreed to conditions of the Sony Ericson competition.
Financing my own flight to Munich and back is no problem, it's a shame that I can't enter in the conventional manner, after all, to the best of my knowledge . . . I actually AM the only Jamiroquai fan in this lonely country. _________________ Jamily to the bone !!!

has anyone thought that this competition would be a bit hypocritical of jay and the band considering what they stand for?
e.g - the aircraft fuel & emissions
|
no i dnt think so, even though they promote being ecofriendly and caring for all living things in the environment does not mean they cant be involved in anything that can possibly harm the environment such as aeroplanes and thus emissions. In our modern way of living it is hard to avoid all avenues which could possibly harm the enviroment cars etc but I believe trying to make people aware of injustices in our world (e.g. jamiroquai thru lyrics) and limiting not eliminating using/doing things that can negatively affect the environment is what is important
just a thought tho
goodluck to those who can enter ....wish i could |
so you think - throwing an unessesary competition for the aid of Sony's walkman phone marketing campaign is limiting the use of aeroplanes? _________________

Keep trying Peggy, don't give up, there's gotta be some silly glitch staring you in the face, and you'l solve it soon enough, or one of the others will crack it.
You have to keep going for the sake of the rest of us who are up a creek without a paddle !!!

Peggy, are you sure you have counted the "I (sign)" as two words already?
You can only add 8 words on your own - so altogether you have 10 words (or 9 words and one logo) in the end. |

Hi Meike, yes I did ! I even got rid of the ! sign to not have to much !
I have exactly 10 words, the I sign included !
I have 2 accounts, with one it gives the 'uneven numbers of seperated.....' failure, with the other one 'this is not a valid produc-acessory id'
But both the accounts are confirmed by Sony ! So I really don't get it ! I phoned Sony and they said 'we can not help you with that'.... Nice... _________________ www.myspace.com/petettie |
