I use Hot Property to test devices...

ophone » Aug 18 '18
...like headphones or loud speakers.

It has strong basses and high pitches, so it's perfect.

I should give that track a try because I just grabbed some expensive (for me anyway), new headphones the other day. Hot Property is my favorite new track next to Vitamin so I can't wait to test out those headphones with it after work!

By the way, what are the headphones you have to listen to your music?

I've got 4 units of Panasonic RP-HTX7 (Cream, Pink, Red and Blue), JVC ensnsy and a pair of Samson SR850 headphones.

Panasonic for taking them away when I'm out, JVC to be used at home, and the latest ones I got, the Samson pair to listen music at home (I like these a lot).

In fact the Sennheiser headphones were a present for my son a few years ago, but he was not so happy with them. He needed some other headphones especially for gaming. So he gave them back to me. Now they are mine. And i bought him other ones. We are both happy now! smile

Samson SR850 are great. Of course they won't be like the Senheisser Momentum as these are low cost monitoring headphones. In any case it's worth to get them, the sound is really good (27 € in thomman).

Other headphones I'd like to try are the 'Superlux HD 668B', low cost monitoring headphones too (29 € in Thomman).

On another note, I'm looking for on ear Bluetooth headphones with which I can also phone.

The Philips SHB6250 I have make strange side noises on the right ear as soon as they are connected to another Bluetooth device.

You can do all this with the Sennheiser I have, it is the wireless version with bluetooth and you can phone with it as well. I have no experience though with phone calls though.. have never tried it. But bluethooth works fine and not to mention the brilliant sound!

Find more information here:

I used to test everything with Canned Heat but yes there are a few tracks on Automaton that are equally strong.

I have a pair of Sennheiser HD 800.

Canned Heat is also my reference track!

Will try Hot Property too.

I was a bit disappointed with the lower end of Automaton. Feels like a bit too much cut off

I finally bought a pair of Bose wireless on ear headphones.

Not that I wanted to disrespect Meike's advice, but I was able to try them on in a shop.

Unfortunately the shop didn't have them available for sale, so I ordered them online, where they only cost nearly half of the price. Quite a difference from 299 to 162€...

As soon as I received them, I listened to Hot Property and afterwards I followed the trend here and listened to Canned Heat. I'm satisfied with my new headphones.

Man, I always thought Bose was a German brand, I even pronounced it the German way, like "böse" without the Umlaut...

But what do I see on my headphones? The Bose company is located in Massachusetts...

Not exactly Germany. joy
